The band 13 Seeds live and breathe in Oklahoma City. We’ve been together for about three years now.
Our bass player, Rob Spears, is very energetic onstage. He likes to dance while playing his bass guitar. He’s conked me on the head a few times. This is just one of the many dangers of standing next to him while performing. He’s fun to watch and keeps us all, very entertained.
Our drummer, Roger Myers, keeps the beat and is a master thrasher on the drum set. He’s the time keeper and rhythm seeker. A man of few words, he conveys a message through his sticks. He also sings back-up vocals.
Mark Lyon plays electric guitar, lead and rhythm. A seasoned musician, songwriter and vocalist. He stands like a flamingo when he really gets into his lead playing. It’s pretty damned funny to watch. He also happens to be my husband. We’ve been happily married since May 2003.
Lori Lyon plays play 6 and 12 string acoustic guitar, she sings and writes too. Her songs are honest, emotionally driven and convey a personal message.

We take our music seriously, not. We approach our music, very much so, like our lives. We realize our limitations, but strive to overcome. We embrace it for what it is, flaws and all. We make no grandiose claims. We are who we are. And that’s just fine.
